Current Job Openings:

• Licensed Engineer (5 years minimum experience)
• Non-licensed Engineer (0-5 years experience, EIT preferred)
• Engineering Intern/Coop (experience preferred, but not required)
• CAD technician (must know AutoCAD)

Typical JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Modifying and preparing structural engineering plans, and details
• Plot, print, and organize plans and calculations
• Assistance in modifying and/or preparing engineering calculations
• Assist the design team with finding solutions to complex problems

The candidate may have a chance to be involved with every part of our work from the planning phase to construction administration.

This position may be part-time or full time based on employee's abilities. For part timers, the hours are flexible weekdays, preferably specific days.

This positions are ideal for skilled CAD operators & engineering candidates, who want be a part of growing firm with a friendly and positive environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficiency and Drafting experience with AutoCAD is plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, other design software such as ENERCALC and RISA are also a plus.
• This position is ideal for a responsible, motivated person seeking long-term employment. Previous management experience is a plus.
• Must be quick to learn, self-starter, detail-oriented, reliable and have good ethical & interpersonal skills.
• Design/detailing experiences in steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures in seismic region are required.
• Candidates must be able to work efficiently whether as a team member or independently.
